"Durchgang" means passage/tunnel/thoroughfare
"Ärzte" are doctors
.... passage doctors? (a theory strongly supported by the fact that the side of the same building in the next road over features an identical sign - inferring that they are somehow connected via a passage).
EDIT: as it turns out, the truth isn't quite as amusing as that, as Durchgangsärzte are merely medical referees. Still, it was fun while it lasted.
