just to be sure we got this right: that archaic looking pillar with the lit up yellow taxi cube is a "taxi call thing" (for lack of a better word). it's sole purpose is to stand there and look pretty.........and enable you to call a taxi, JUST IN CASE YOU CAN'T SEE ONE NEARBY....OR 20 FOR THAT MATTER!!!
